Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DOES VINTAGE MEAN?

We offer a collection of rare and one-of-a-kind items, and take pride in carefully selecting unique pieces from all over the world to share with you.

Many of our items span decades worth of hosts, style, art, and design and will therefore show signs of previous love. If you have questions about any of our items, or would like further photos of certain pieces, please reach out to us before purchasing.

Some of our items are antique and/or vintage. Because of this the items may display patinas, wear, tear and character that is a result of aging. Scuffs/marks & age related blemishes are to be expected from pieces, most of which are 30+ years old, our belief is that they add to the character of the piece.

The condition of the piece will be noted within its caption, if you have any questions or queries about a piece’s condition, please drop us a message.

SUSTAINABILITY?

Sustainability is fundamental to everything we do.

We take this concern seriously and as such all of our packaging is minimal, as well as 100% recycled and recyclable. Mitigating the ecological and ethical impact of doing business is paramount to us.

While doing our best to minimise the ecological impact we source rare and vintage objects, giving them a new life and purpose.

If shipping costs are required in excess of the order’s shipping estimate, the purchaser will be notified with a request to pay for the additional shipping/postal charges.

Orders shipped internationally will be sent via the regions carriers.

Shipping charges are generated based on customer location and weight/size of product. Purchase will be processed within 3 business days.

Personal collection can be organised from Birmingham City centre, or Newmarket, Suffolk.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items once they have been shipped, but please contact us if this happens and we will try our best to work with you to resolve the issue.

Please be aware that shipping outside of the UK could incur customs charges. Shop ADA are not responsible for these charges and have no control over them.
