Perspex cube with inner orb lam

Space-age mid-century style design at its finest from British lighting manufacturer Thorn.  Looks straight out of a Kubrick film this rare vintage table lamp is rarely seen in such neutral colors, well suited for a modern interior or a space station.  It has a white sphere inside a subtly smokey perspex cube enclosure. The stunning table lamp is circa 1960s and in quite exceptional condition.  On the long and ample cord is a very vintage 1970s looking on/off switch, also in excellent condition.  The mid-century lighting piece sits on a pedestal base and is highlighted by the striking black line details from the corners, base and cord.
